The Dairy Barn is Mooo-velous!

The dairy barn is a favorite farm destination for kids! Here they can watch a cow being milked and learn about milk production. It's an unforgettable experience, one that children will remember each time they pour milk onto cereal or have a glass of milk with cookies.

Dairy barn school field trips will include a milking demonstration, as well as information on milk processing. Children will also learn about different products made from milk.

Southern Belle Farm was established in 1938 in Henry County, Georgia, by the Carter family, who have been farming in this area of Georgia for eight generations. Read more About The Farmers to find out about the Carter family's development of the farm. And be sure to visit our Farm History page to see old photos of the dairy, some dating back to the 1940s.
