Spring into Fun at Southern Belle Farm!

Spring has sprung at Southern Belle Farm, and that means one thing: it’s strawberry season! U-Pick Strawberries, Outdoor Activities, and our Country Market & Bakery are all open. We’ve already helped lots of guests enjoy the Spring on the Farm and we’re looking forward to the weeks to come as we prepare to pick our summer fruits. Keep reading to learn more about what’s currently available on the farm and what’s in the future.

U-Pick Strawberries: Hours & Pricing

We are all about strawberries right now here on the farm and we have buckets to go around! We have 15 acres of fresh strawberries waiting to be picked right off the plant. This activity is fun for all ages and the weather is absolutely perfect for berry picking.

Picking Hours:

Monday – Friday: 9am-5pm
Saturday: 10am-6pm
Sunday: 1pm-6pm
*Please note that we will be CLOSED on Mother’s Day.

Strawberry Prices:

Patch Admission Fee: $1.00
U-Pick 1 Gallon: $17.95
U-pick Strawberry Quart: $6.95
Pre-picked* 1 Gallon: $19.95
Pre-pick Strawberry Quart: $6.95
*U-Pick Season Passes are available for $3.95. Passes can be used for patch admission during any picking season within the year purchased.

*Pre-picked when available. Call ahead 770.288.2582 to check pre-picked berry availability. The price above includes the price of the bucket.

*Last entry to strawberry patch is 4pm on weekdays and 5pm on weekends.

*Please be advised that Southern Belle Farm hosts field trips for schools during the week (Tuesday – Friday) while Strawberry season is happening. As a result, there may be several groups of students on the farm during these days. Visit the Country Market & Bakery for Local Goods & Treats!

Cool off and grab a snack at our Country Market & Bakery during your visit. Shop our fresh produce, including pre-picked strawberries, as well as local-made jams, jellies, sauces, pickles, honey, and ciders. And, you can’t leave Southern Belle Farm without trying our Strawberry Shortcake with a scoop of homemade ice cream on top! We have other foods like hotdogs, corn dogs, chicken tenders, fries, and cold-cut sandwiches. Many guests come by the farm just to shop and eat at our Country Market and you are welcome to as well!

Coming Soon: Summer at Southern Belle Farm

When summer comes around, we’ll have to say goodbye to u-pick strawberries but we’ll have even more for you to pick: peaches, blueberries, blackberries, muscadines, and flowers! We’ll also have our Outdoor Activities available so the fun can continue! Stay tuned for more updates about our summer season as we get closer. Peaches are the first summer fruit to pick and they are typically ready late May-mid June.
